Royton and Crompton is a school with a bright future. In 2018 we were recognised as the most improved school in Oldham. The school is situated a short distance from the scenic pennies and has excellent transport links to both Greater Manchester and Yorkshire regions. 

We are under the guidance of an experienced Leadership Team and the E-ACT Academy Trust who are driving the school forward. We also look towards a new, state of the art building, on schedule to be ready for September 2019. 

The successful candidates will work in conjunction with the Deputy Headteacher responsible for Learning and Curriculum and English Senior Faculty Leader, the role holder will be responsible for co-lead training, support and advice on the management and implementation of the assessment policy and practice throughout the school. 

The awarding of a TLR at any level must satisfy the requirement that the responsibility is beyond that which would be expected of all classroom teachers. All TLR post holders must ensure the required competencies both individually and within their teams.
