Maths Week 2010

Another successful Maths Week has taken place at RCS. Activities for the pupils included:-

Designing and making Board Games based on Monopoly, with a World Cup theme.

A visit to the RAF for Year 10 pupils

A Year 7 Maths Trail

The Trading Game, to compare conditions in developed and developing countries

Financial capability work, with Year 10 planning a holiday

Work on the Golden Ratio

Work on reflecting flags of countries

A daily Sudoku puzzle, and a competition to redesign the Mathematics department praise postcard

Thanks go to all the staff involved, in particular to Mr Taylor-Jenkins who again successfully coordinated the event.
