Post 1: Learning Mentor
Salary/Terms: NJC Points 18-21 £14,115 - £15,731
36.667 hours per week, Term Time, Temporary until 31 July 2012
This post is an integral part of our progressive Pupil Support Service, working alongside our established team in supporting school strategies to remove barriers to learning and raise standards of pupil achievement.
Applicants will be enthusiastic and self motivated and have experience of working with children and young people. The ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with young people, their families and partner organisations, together with a knowledge and understanding of the barriers to learning faced by children and young people are essential requirements of this post.
Post 2: Art Technician
Salary/Terms: NJC Points 11-13 £6,609 - £6,928
20 hours per week, Term Time, Temporary until 31 July 2012
This post will provide technical and administrative/resource support to our innovative and creative Art Department, both within and outside of the classroom environment.
Applicants will be enthusiastic, self motivated, willing to work on their own initiative. They should have experience in the use of Lens-Based Media to develop Artwork and also in a range of ICT software applications. A commitment to providing responsive day to day operational support to teaching staff and the ability to relate well to children and young people, in addition to meeting the technical needs of the role, are essential requirements of this post.
