Student Receptionist

Salary:    Grade 2 NJC Points 12 – 17. £16,153 - £17,772 pro rata.

                (Actual: £9138 - £10,054 subject to length of service)

Terms:    25 hours per Week. Daily hours of 12.30 - 17.30. Term Time Only.

Royton and Crompton is a school with a bright future. We are under the guidance of a new and experienced Leadership Team who are driving the school forward.

A new build is planned for 2019 which will provide state of the art resources for all of our staff. We are situated a short distance away from the scenic Pennines and have excellent transport links from Manchester city centre.

Responsible to the designated SLT lead, and under the instruction of the Pastoral Services House Co-ordinator, two new Student Receptionist posts will provide high level student reception services and general clerical, administrative, financial and whole school organisational support within a designated Student Reception across and extended day of 10 hours. Each post will provide 5 hours of support, with this post acting as a continuation to the early morning service from 12.30pm-5.30pm.

A high level customer orientation and focus, experience of work related contact with and support for young people, together with an understanding of and commitment to data protection, safeguarding and the need to keep information confidential, are all key requirements of this post.
