Royton and Crompton is a school with a bright future. We are under the guidance of a new and experienced Leadership Team who are driving the school forward.
A new build is planned for 2019 which will provide state of the art resources for all of our staff. We are situated a short distance away from the scenic Pennines and have excellent transport links from Manchester city centre.
The newly established post of Head of House will be and experienced practitioner, responsible for leading and developing the behaviour, welfare, attendance and punctuality of a cohort of 240 students, liaising with other senior leaders to deliver against expected progress targets for all students, in accordance with the aims of the school and policies determined by the Governing Body and Headteacher of the school. The successful applicants will support, develop and enhance the practice of others in a pastoral context as the school transitions from a year group to vertical house structure over the next 12-18 months. Ultimately, the Head of House will monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a manager across the Key Stages within a designated House structure.
In return, we offer a competitive salary and local government pension scheme, an Employee Assistance Programme to support health and well-being as well as full induction and a programme of continuing professional development.
All applicants should note that our school operates a strict Safeguarding Policy, and procedures are rigorously and consistently applied.
