Royton and Crompton is a school with a bright future. We are under the guidance of a new and experienced Leadership Team who are driving the school forward.

A new build is planned for 2019 which will provide state of the art resources for all of our staff. We are situated a short distance away from the scenic Pennines and have excellent transport links from Manchester city centre.

Working as a member of Pastoral team of staff and alongside teaching and support staff colleagues, this post will individualise provision to address the needs of vulnerable students who require targeted support and intervention in order achieve their full academic potential. The successful postholder will be experienced in implementing agreed work programmes with individuals/groups of students in or out of the classroom setting and in assisting the teacher in in the whole planning cycle. The role will also include occasional cover supervision of whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers.

In return, we offer a competitive salary and local government pension scheme, an Employee Assistance Programme to support health and well-being as well as full induction and a programme of continuing professional development.
